Barely a week after a street in the Wa East District of the Upper West region was named after Noella Wiyaala, Ghanaian Afro pop singer-songwriter who sings in her native Sissala and Waale dialects, residents of Ashaiman have replicated a similar thing for another musician .

Elders of the community in honour of the award-winning musician Stonebwoy named one of its streets after him.

"Just as I touched down..I represent for the hood!! And the hood represent for me!!", Stonebwoy wrote on Facebook.
