Stebo Records Releases Amakye’s Best Concert Video

Stebo Records International, one of Ghana’s most dynamic music production companies, is to hit the music scene with the much anticipated concert video of the highlife music icon Amakye Dede.

According to the executive producer, Nana Boahene aka Original Stebo, the new product, dubbed ‘Amakye Dede Best Concert Video’, was something music lovers would enjoy.

The music video, which is yet to be aired on our local television network, according to Nana Boahene, was carefully packaged not only for the local and African market, but for the entire world.

He told BEATWAVES in a chat, “We have strived hard to reach the final stage of the video and I am very proud to release the original copies of the DVDs and the VCDs in the country and the USA market from today, Tuesday June 28.” Nana Boahene, who has contributed immensely towards the vibrant music industry in the Ghana, believes the video would reveal the true colours of the highlife music icon’s live performances and certainly boost his image and enhance the sales of his latest successful CD album, ‘Akonoba’, which was released early this year.

Evolution International, the management of Amakye Dede, deserves some credit for its contribution to the video. He explained that his outfit had worked tirelessly on the music video, which has all the qualities to meet the demand of music lovers in Ghana and beyond. According to him, he did not believe in coming out with just any music video, saying it was important for the video to make a good impression as soon as it hit the market.

He was optimistic that Abrantie’s style of play, coupled with the fact that most of his songs were fused with soul-touching rhythms, would take him places. The music video has hit-songs such as ‘Akonoba’, ‘Su Fre Onyame’, ‘Dabidabi Ebeye Yie’, ‘Adukuro Mu Nsuo’, ‘You Broke Your Promise’. The rest are ‘Akoko Be Bon’, ‘Odo Ho Akyere Noa’, ‘Iron Boy’, ‘Od Da Baabi’,’ Odo Nsheme Awereho’ and ‘Madamfo Pa’. The music video is being marketed by Stebo Records in Ghana and Music Makers in the USA.
