Stars attend launch of Ghana’s foremost girls shop ‘GirlPlay’ in Accra

Accra’s foremost all girls’ shop “GirlPlay” was launched last Sunday at a ceremony held at its forecourt in Haatso, Accra.

John Dumelo, Jasmine Baroudi, Sammy Forson, Ephriam and ‘Brommon’ were among the personalities who graced the launch.

Owned by young entrepreneur Pearl Yahaya, the shop is located at Haatso opposite the Total Filling station.

The brand's core focus is on shapewear. Pearl says she aims to provide women of every shape and size with the right undergarments to enable them achieve a slimmer silhouette and enhance their confidence.

These garments are specially designed to provide comfort, she adds, saying “They have a unique seamless feature which tackles the issue that we as women face when trying to disguise our undergarments.”

Additionally, GirlPlay stocks a maternity collection which enables pregnant women and new mothers to feel good throughout their pregnancy and breastfeeding stages.



Pearl’s outfit are also advocates for healthy lifestyle with their 'Aquatiser Fruit Infusion Bottles' highly sought after.



Overall, the firm aims to tackle the main issues women face when it comes to their bodies.
