Speaker In Town – Watchout

“With the increase in social vices such as indecency in dressing among others of the youth of today, my part as a Ghanaian is to address and demean it” words of Speaker.

Nicholas Kwadwo Boateng (a.k.a Speaker), son of the music industry from way back started rapping during his high school days and has since been underground promoting the Gospel of music anywhere he finds viable.

In an interview on Obuoba fm’s top 20 count down hosted by the sensational Levels Man, Speaker revealed that: “Day in day out, we see the youth of today engaging themselves in so many social vices which at the end of the day does not help the country as a whole” and again stressed that he stands for all and will carry the plight of the people thus his move to curb this through music. Asked where he draws his inspiration from, speaker named Obrafour, Ghana rap sofo and Obour as his mentors owing to their flow, tenacity and expertise in the game. He also spends his time listening to music of various genres.

Touching on his single “Azonto Girl”, Speaker seeks to address the canker of indecent dressing by women and the values of dressing well. Featured on the track were Stay J and Secure the #1 fastest rapper.

To his fans “I have come to speak for the people. It is high time we use what we have to get what we want, let us all help promote a worthy course.” Speaker is currently working as a journalist but still finds time to do music which has become a part of him and also helping to promote young and upcoming artist so the next time you see or hear the Speaker in your hood or blasting in your ears just holla “beeho”.
