Socrates Sarfo, Director of the Creative Arts, National Commission on Culture, has taken a swipe at the local media for reading negative meanings into the local movie industry.
He said the conduct of the media towards the movie industry, had halted the progress of the industry, hence the recent decline.
According to the astute movie producer, who doubles as a board member of the Zylofon Arts fund, the media must begin to highlight the positives of the industry to aid them to progress.
Mr. Sarfo, said highlighting on the positives would encourage investments and growth of the industry.
