Social media reacts to Burna Boy’s 'African Giant' album

Nigerian singer Burna Boy released his much anticipated album titled “African Giant” in the early hours of Friday 26th July 2019.

The singer had sparked a lot of controversy months earlier when he called out Coachella for putting his name in very small fonts claiming that as an African Giant, he deserved better recognition.

After some support and backlash on social media, he went on to deliver a beautiful performance at the event to prove his worth.

Few months down the line, he was awarded BET’s best African act award and was featured in Apple Music’s ‘Up Next: Beat 1’ documentary.

Burna Boy also performed on popular American talk show “Jimmy Kimmel Live”.

The wait is over as Burna Boy finally released his dope 19-track album on Friday and fans cannot hide their excitement.

While some fans praised the musical prowess of the self acclaimed ‘African Giant’, others were taken aback by the quality production on the album.
