Shatta Wale used me to get attention - Kaakie

Shatta Movement Family might just not be happy with Kaakie.

Ghanaian dancehall artist Grace Kaki Awo Ocansey popularly known as Kaakie has revealed the supposed recent “attacks” on her by colleague female dancehall artists are only geared towards one thing, crave for attention!

The musician whose recent single Sankwas has received a lot of buzz because of her metaphoric use of “weed” in the chorus “Dem no know sey we dey chew weed” and the claim by many that the song is directed at other female dancehall artists especially MzVee, in an interview with Abeiku Santana on Okay FM in Accra revealed the intents of the other musicians are to get attention from the populace since Shatta Wale did it and had results.

“Everyone feels because Shatta Wale recorded a diss song for me after the VGMAs and had the attention, everyone wants to mention my name..”

Kaakie also revealed he’s in search of Shatta Wale for a project they promised to work on some time back.

Asked if MzVee, who has been described as the dancehall queen by many has ever dissed her in any manner, Kaakie responded in the affirmative.
