Shatta Wale to launch boxer shorts line

Ghanaian dancehall act, Shatta Wale is set to launch a boxer shorts line under his own label SM Boxers, his manager, Lawrence Hanson, has confirmed to Starr Entertainment.

The Shatta Movement king gave the world a glimpse of the underwear when he stripped in front of hundreds of Ghanaians at the 5th edition of the Ghana Meets Naija Concert.

The soon-to-be businessman has also stated he wants to start a career in comedy because he has been told he is “gifted with making people laugh”.

He said this to Bola Ray on the Starr Drive on Starr 103.5FM last week.

Wale who was in the studio with his best music buddy, Sarkodie, said there are two important things he wants to do in addition to music; to become president of the Musicians Union of Ghana (MUSIGHA), and to set up a production that specialises in producing comedy skits.

“I really want to do this Bola. So that on Sunday evenings people can sit at home with their families and enjoy my comedy series on TV.”
