Shatta Wale is popular because of me - Stonebwoy

Award-winning dancehall artiste Livingstone Etse Satekla popularly known by his stage name Stonebwoy has revealed that he’s the reason why Shatta Wale is famous in Ghana.

The two artistes have for some years now been involved in one of the fiercest rivalries the Ghanaian music industry has ever witnessed.

Speaking in an interview with KMJa on HitzFM, Stonebwoy claimed Shatta Wale cannot grant an interview or do a new song without hitting on him.

According to Stonebwoy, Shatta is pushing so hard to ruin his reputation while he is on a different level working for good things in life.

Stonebwoy said despite all the negativity talk from his rival (Shatta Wale) he’s still the best when it comes to dancehall music.

‘None of his negative comments baffles me because it’s obvious the day Shatta Wale stops talking about me that will be the end of his career.

‘Obviously, I play a very big role in his music career, instead of him trying to punch me all the time he should rather use a different strategy because I’m far ahead of him’, said Stonebwoy.

However Stonebwoy added in spite of that rivalry, he is more than willing to save Shatta Wale from a deadly situation.
