Shatta Wale is in the news again after constantly making the headlines for three weeks and counting.

Obviously for the wrong reasons, this time, Shatta Wale has slapped his bodyguard and tongues have been wagging.

During the S-Concert show at the Accra Sports Stadium on Friday night, Shatta Wale slapped his bodyguard who has been named as Steve.

According to report, the bodyguard prevented a fan from holding Shatta Wale’s leg when he was performing on stage.

Therefore, thinking that his bodyguard was depriving the fan to display that indeed he is the dancehall king, Shatta Wale gave the bodyguard a heavy slap.

The slap report has since gone viral and lit social media with overwhelming comments.

But breaking his silence over the matter, the ‘Taking Over’ hit maker in a Facebook Live chat explains his real reason for slapping his body guards.

According to the controversial musician, his slap was to test the loyalty of his security.

The slap, he added, was also to test if the love shown him by his close aides is indeed real.

Therefore, he is confident now to state that his bodyguard has shown loyalty to him for refusing to talk to the media about his unfortunate slap, he indicated.

“Let me tell you, no blogger, Ghanaian can buy my security,” Shatta boasted in the Facebook livestream.

He added that his ‘Shatta Movement’ group is beyond music and Ghanaians can never understand.

In the same live recording, the affected bodyguard attacked journalists and Ghanaians for speaking on his heavy slap.

Even though he appeared tough and unconcerned in the video, his facial expression shows otherwise.

According to him, the slap is no one’s business.

He added that no amount of money or persuasion would make him betray Shatta Wale.

“No one can buy me with money; my love for Shatta is to the grave,” he said.

Meanwhile, some social media users who were reacting to Shatta Wale’s live Facebook video did not take the body guard’s work kindly.

Some stated that his comments portray foolishness on his part.

One person wrote: “Mr. Body guard I feel pity for u. He slapped u for 150 GH salary.”

An obviously angry social media user wrote: “This useless Shatta bodyguard shouldn’t come to the north; else we will beat him for his parents.”
