Ghana's self-styled dancehall king, Charles Nii Armah, popularly known by his showbiz name, Shatta Wale, has complimented his fellow artist, E.L., and dismissed comments from critics who say he has little talent.

Ghanaian dancehall artist, Shatta Wale, has been accused of being controversial many times in the past, but never let it be said of him that he doesn't give credit where it's due.

Speaking in a recent interview on Zylofon FM, the King of Shatta Movement spoke highly of fellow Ghanaian artiste, Elom Adablah, popularly known to Ghanaians as E.L. According to Shatta Wale, E.L. is a great rapper, and should concentrate on putting out music the people want, as opposed to trying to please foreign counterparts.

“I expect rapper EL to learn from this [his example] and deliver songs that the people want and not songs that will have to impress friends or international counterparts…” Said Shatta Wale. Shatta Wale's comments come on the back of similar ones made by E.L., who in a recent interview on Joy FM, expressed that there is no bad blood between himself and Shatta Wale, he also stated that the people who hated on the Ayoo hitmaker only did so at their own peril.

"I love Shatta Wale. You cannot hate Shatta, you will be shooting yourself in the foot...I don’t have a problem with Shatta. Shatta is my brother. He gave me a piece of advice when we were sitting at Heathrow Airport. We had a great discussion.” He said.
