'Am Ok’ hitmaker, Shatta Wale has disclosed that he would on everyday choose money over prestige and to this end, he’s no longer interested in the Oxford Africa Conference which is also slated the same day as this year’s Ghana Meets Naija Concert, May 21.
Speaking to Sammy Flex on Pluzz Fm, he said “Sammy I’m interested in making more money than prestige, it’s not like I’m not all that interested in going to the Oxford thing, but I want to make more money. I’ve lot of people calling me for gigs here and there, so I might just cancel the Oxford, and I attend to those shows. I want to make more money now, the prestige will follow later” He stated.
Yes, Shatta Wale has officially cancelled the Oxford Africa Conference, and will now officially play at this year’s Ghana Meets Naija Concert where he’s also the headlining act.
Management has also confirmed that Shatta Wale will not be attending the Oxford Africa Conference this year but they are in talks with the authorities there so that they can allow him to speak at the Oxford Africa Conference in the subsequent years.
This year’s Ghana Meets Naija Concert is slated for May, 211 at the AICC.
