Ghanaian Dancehall and Reggae artistes, Livingston Etse Satekla known in the music circles as ''Stonebwoy'' and Charles Nii Armah Mensah also known as ''Shatta Wale'', have reiterated the need to make peace reign, as they set sights on thriving the Ghanaian music industry.
In a latest Peace Conference facilitated by the Kofi Abban Foundation, the duo demonstrated remorse for their actions and apologised to Ghanaians for their actions.
Stonebwoy, in his remarks at the conference, said the reason to move on from their past feud and the importance of unity between them, was in the interest of the industry.
''The main reason why we are here is for peace and love. When you see both of us together, you all should know the future is brighter and whatever the hatchet be, it has been buried and we have moved forward,'' Stonebwoy said.
Stonebwoy said they have a huge impact on the youth of the country, hence the need for them to direct their followers on the right path.
He called on the media not exploit their action for their own benefits.
''We drive the youth of Ghana, both home and abroad, so we thought about the best way to get this relationship going without the unnecessary feud.
''We now have to put everything aside and direct them and not allow them to direct us, and I will again apologise for the roles we have played in making this happen because we're both men of peace, '' Stonebwoy said.
Shatta Wale, in his brief remark, reiterated the need to let peace reign to help thrive their respective careers and set good examples for the followers.
''We just won't to apologise to all who we felt bad. It always happen, but peace is all we want and to get our business flourishing as well as living a good life and setting a good example for the next generation,'' Shatta Wale said.
