Shatta Wale, Michy proposal was not staged - Bulldog

The Manager of Dancehall artiste Shatta Wale has rubbished claims by Michy that his artiste’s proposal to her at the 2018 Reign Concert was staged.

Bulldog says he finds it very ridiculous for Michy, who was clearly surprised on the night, to make such remarks when she knew nothing about the proposal till it happened on stage.

Michy, born Diamond Michelle Gbagonah, revealed in an interview that she suffered physical and emotional abuse at the hands of Shatta Wale.

According to her, the abuse hit a crescendo after their “staged” marriage proposal at the Reign Concert on October 14, 2018, at the Fantasy Dome in Accra.

Reacting to the claim for the first time in an interview on Showbiz 927 on 3FM with MzGee, manager Bulldog said Michy’s allegations are false.

“It wasn’t stage…she didn’t even know Shatta was going to give her a ring so how did she know it was staged? I mean did they plan it before they got to the venue; was she part of the plan? She didn’t even know it was a surprise to her,” he said.

Bulldog, born Lawrence Nana Asiamah-Hanson, had a hunch “maybe she is hurt and she wants to pour out something but as far as I know it wasn’t staged”.

The artiste manager, who said he has been around Shatta Wale and Michy long enough, is praying fervently that they come back together.

“…I hope and pray that they come back. They had a very beautiful union and all their struggle was part of the beautiful union. If you have a relationship and there are no struggles then you don’t have a relationship,” Bulldog said.
