Gospel musician Diana Hamilton has been on the lips of most critics after she released the video to her new song “Moneyo” which included the “Shaku Shaku” dance.

Shaku shaku is a dance that’s performed by crossing your arms in front of each other at the wrist, widening your legs slightly, and launching into a graceful half-gallop.

This dance is seen by many as a “worldly dance” and should not have been used by a Musician preaching the gospel.

However, Diana Hamilton in an interview with SVTV AFRICA explained her reason behind her choice of dance.

According to her she was dancing to glorify the name of God and has not tagged any dance worldly and feels it is right to dance and glorify him.

“In the presence of God you loose yourself and everything you do is meant to praise Him.” the multiple award-winning Gospel musician Diana Hamilton explained

She added that God didn’t put any formula on dance and asked critics to clear their minds of that thought.
