Ghanaian-Hungarian singer Sena Dagadu, who days ago announced her latest Feathers album, will crown this year’s Hungarian Cultural Week with the Connection Concert at Alliance Francais on March 17th.
In the company of 15 other Hungarian musicians and many other Ghanaian music legends, she looks to create what organisers term “a unique musical experience”. Hungarian urban folk band Zuboly, Wanlov The Kubolor, Stevo the kologo player, hiplife veterans VVIP are all set to perform on the night.
Other acts for the concert include fast-rising Worlasi, Hungarian/Ghanaian band RedRed, Gyedu Blay Amboley and Tumi Ansah.
The The Hungarian Cultural Week in its entirety takes place in Hotel Kempinski, Rockstone’s Office and the Alliance Francais between the 10th and 18th of March, and the Connection Concert, because of the enviable list it parades on the night easily ranks among the most highly-anticipated concerts already this year.
