Sarkodie tried his best to be part of Obrafour’s documentary – Manager explains

Manager of Ghana’s most decorated rapper Sarkodie, Angel Town has finally come out to explain why the Tema-based rapper failed to turn up for Obrafour’s “Pae Mu Ka” documentary.

Obrafour in his recent interview revealed that he invited both Sarkodie and Rap Doctor Okyeame Kwame to feature in his upcoming documentary but they both failed to turn up for the shoot.

This comment from Obrafour whom many people especially music lovers hold in high esteem made social media user attack Sarkodie for been disrespectful towards the legend Obrafour and wondered if truly his comment of Obrafour being his idol is really true.

Well, his manager Angel has stepped in to explain why the fastest failed to show up explaining that Sark never turned down the offer for the feature.

According to him, they tried their best to be a part of it and will never say “No” to Obrafour.

He went on to explain that there were definitely arrangement issues because “Sark[odie] was over willing” to feature in the documentary.

Angel stated that the producer of the documentary called him and communicated that they would like to shoot Sarkodie’s bit at 2 pm on an agreed date but unfortunately, the rapper was still at Pastor Brian Amoateng’s IYES Conference at the National Theatre as at that time of the shoot.

The manager further said, Obrafour had later said he was sending the team over to his – Sarkodie – house to shoot the rapper’s part, which never happened.

“It’s just a matter of [mis]communication.”

“If right now self if these people want to shoot Sark[odie] a, he go shoot,” Angel said in pidgin.
