'Sark-Fest beef’ unnecessary – Okyeame Kwame

Hiplife artiste, Okyeame Kwame is calling for an end to the ongoing lyrical war between colleagues Sarkodie and M.anifest.

According to a publication by Showbiz, Okyeame Kwame believes the Musicians Union of Ghana should call both artistes to order since the feud will not have any positive impact on their career and the industry as a whole.

“The emphasis at this point should be ‘collaboration’. This is the new paradigm for music where competitors work together for a common good. Competition is dead, plain and simple. To put it plainly, it’s the number one killer of the industry. Instead of creating animosity, music should be used to bring fans together so we concentrate on developing a better performance culture,” he told Showbiz.

Sarkodie dropped ‘Kanta’ on Sunday as a reply to M.anifest’s ‘god MC’ which some believe was directed at the former following his release of ‘Bossy’.
