Sandy Evicted After Classy Performance

TV3 reality show Mentor II, last Sunday evening moved live audience and viewers at home with contagious music supported by the Master Mix Band as the five contestants went for African songs.

All the five mentor contestants, Joe, Kofi, Dee, Sandy and Prince proved that they were in class of their own that evening.

It has always been the band's support in helping the contestants sing and portray exactly as the song and sound goes in every song chosen by the contestants to be absorbed by fans.

Moreover, the band helps in rehearsing with the contestants to come out with nothing but the best.

As usual the TV3 Studio B was jam-packed to the max with lots of people zealously waiting in hushed expectation.

The Judges Akosua Agyapong, Mark, Dominic and Paulina Oduro were all seated looking very enormous and prepared to pass a remark on a performance.

The judges were expecting powerful show from all the five contestants, Joe, Sandy, Prince, Dee and Kofi that evening.

The self-motivated presenters Fiifi and Anita were looking ostentatious in their African wear on stage as they kept the show kicking. They were around to introduce the contestants on stage to perform and of course to tell viewers who was leaving the mentor house.

The show started with contestant Sandy a.k.a Obolo who performed 'Zibote'. It was an impressive piece and was engrossed by live audience.

Followed was Kofi who performed a song entitled 'Africa'. It was also a remarkable performance and moved the audience.

Contestant Joe now known as the humble lion did a song by Rex Omar entitled 'Palm wine'. He trilled the live audience that they could not just sit to watch her perform but sang alongside the chorus as they swung their heads and tapped their feet.

Contestant Prince, most Ghanaian's favourite boy did a song entitled 'Brima'. He really stormed the stage, viewers at home, the live audience and all the judges.

He was groomed by all the judges with good comments and urged him to continue with the good work done.

The performance was excellent and the band was superb. So was the sound output. And of course it had to do with the Master Mix Band with the backing vocals.

Contestant Dee alias Dada Dee gave out a song entitled 'African woman'. He also trilled the live audience as he performed beautifully.

The show continued in an excitement as each contestants came with some selected mentors on stage to perform. They all performed marvelously as the audience stood and sung flanking.

Sandy performed with her mentor, Dada K.D. in a song entitled 'Eni me enye'. The audience put on their dancing shoes as they were singing the chorus alongside Sandy.

Kofi also came with his mentor Felix Bell to perform a song entitled 'Daniel'. It was indeed a great show.

The audience were all standing and singing throughout his show.

Joe performed alone to do R&B in an African way. He also gave out a splendid show.

Prince took turns to warm up the stage with his mentor Oheneba Kissi in a song entitled 'You are number one'. It was absorbed by the live audience.

Dee came with mentor Nana Quame and gave out spectacular show which also trilled the audience.

It was then time for the sad moment from the presenters to tell us who was going home.

Fear then gripped the contestants as they did not know which of them was leaving.

The lot fell on Sandy who on that evening put up an amazing show prompting all judges to complement her voice and performance. When her eviction was announced, it was not happily accepted by some funs but Sandy who seemed not be moved by her eviction, was full of smiles as contestants crowed around her to hug and congratulate her.

That was the last eviction on the mentor show.
