Samini 'kills' Stonebwoy's spirit with world-class performance at 'Glo Mega Show'

Once again multiple award-winning Ghanaian dancehall/Reggae artiste Samini has proved that he is the best live band performer in Africa.

At the just ended Glo Mega Show’ at the Fantasy Dome, Trade Fair Centre, La in Accra on Saturday, September 22,2018, the legendary Samini ,clad in all-white resplendent African apparel ,restarted the entire event when he hopped onto the stage by getting everybody singing and dancing to his popular tunes like ‘Slow Motion’ and My Own.

Samini’s technique on the microphone, combination with the band and his interaction with the patrons was world-class. The ‘Gae Shi’ hitmaker’s world-class performance really overshadowed that of BET award-winner Stonebwoy who performed immediately after his former boss.

Frantically speaking, Stonebwoy’s performance was really uninspiring as compared to the kind of performance he put up during the Vodafone Ghana Music Awards. Arguably, from Razzonline.com ’s perspective, Stonebwoy should’ve performed before Samini.

The much-anticipated musical concert which was powered by telecommunication giants Globacom attracted over five thousand Glo subscribers and Ghanaian music fans from all walks of life.

Some of the Ghanaian artistes together with their Nigerian and Tanzanian counterparts who rocked the stage apart from Samini and Stonebwoy are MzVee, Kofi Kinaata, Yemi Alade, Tekno, Wizkid and Diamond Platnumz

The ‘GLO MEGA’ concert was designed to “appreciate the teeming supporters in Ghana. It was also an event to welcome new subscribers to join the network and experience the best of services, especially data, from Glo, the grandmasters of data in Ghana.”

Most of the patrons Razzonline.com spoke with applauded the organizers for billing Samini on the night.
