Samini and Shatta Wale beef won’t impact us again, says Edem

The VRMG Boss, Edem, has come out to speak his mind on the new developments between Samini and Shatta Wale with the ‘lyrical battle’ the 2 Dancehall Veterans have began in the early hours of Saturday (July 9, 2016).

Ghana woke up to a new developing lyrical feud between the 2 music giants, Samini and Shatta Wale, something their fans least expected.

However, popular artiste Ayigbe Edem says their 'beef' won't have an impact anymore. In his tweet, he wrote, "I don't think the beef between Shatta and Samini will impact us again".

A new song by Samini titled 'Vextra' has sparked several tweets from Shatta Wale (who is in Kumasi for a peace advocacy programme and to play a gig there, while the song was released).

Shatta Wale, however, took it on a more jovial note with some tweets and some responses from Samini as well on Twitter.

Many people felt both artistes want a 'Dancehall Clash' which looks healthy this time. The Dancehall folks and fans of both artistes seem to be ‘okay’ with it and vehemently want to see both Samini and Shatta Wale hit the stage and battle it out as a competition, as it is done in Jamaica every year (Reggae Sting).

But again, could it mean that Edem wants the ‘lyrical whip’ to stay among his fellow rappers as we have seen in the past days so they (Rappers) enjoy the scene now instead of the vine shifting back to the Dancehall guys?

Below was his tweet few hours ago.
