Salam Hosts Press, Stars Dissapoint Him

Well, the weekend was so hectic but fan. At a point I’d wished I was a muslim but hey Islamic or Christianity it ends on the same man in heaven. Over the weekend the Bazaar train was in Ablekuma celebrating a Muslim festival.

Allahaji Abdul Salam Mumuni is the ceo of Venus films production. Starting as a distributor, he’s now the shinning pillar behind most of our movie stars in the English industry.

Being a business minded person, he was not vague to enter into filming. Nevertheless, he had to because so many people started to trade in his blank tape business and because they were new, they strategize on the penetration pricing thereby, making Salam’s more expensive.

“Venus movies are more glamorous” he said. He took over so easily in the movie market because “he only gives lead and supporting roles to handsome and beautiful ladies.” He believes that having such people in a movie automatically, patronage will be high. “Mistakes of acting wouldn’t be identified because good looking people will have viewers to talk about their looks instead of their acting” he laughs out laud.

On Sunday, Salam invited the press and the movie stars to come celebrate the Sallah with him in his Mansion. The press honoured his invitation but the people (stars) “he made” did not deem his invite. John Dumelo, Eddie Watson and Patrick Safo were the only stars who placed Salam Sallah party first on their scale of preference.

I know you would like to know Salam’s reaction towards the disappointment but the train can’t wait any longer. If only you can tell me why your EARS dey sweet you pass (broken) then I’ll forget about the train and walk, lol. Anyway, thanks for blinking your eyes on me and till we meet again, CHAO!
