Twifo-Praso (C/R), Jan. 19, GNA- The Twifo-Praso District Magistrate Court, has remanded a 24-year-old farmer, for allegedly slashing the left wrist of his girlfriend with cutlass.
Martin Sakyi, 24, whose plea was not taken, will re-appear on February 7.
Prosecuting, Chief Inspector Henry Tandoh, told the Court presided over by Mr Joseph Blay, that the accused inflicted the wounds on his 40-year-old girlfriend, Madam Elizabeth Kumah on January 9, this year when he saw her in the company of a man.
Madam Kumah was rushed to the Assin Foso Catholic Hospital where the badly damaged wrist was amputated.
