SEFA KAYI SPEAKS ON DADDY LUMBA

Anchor of Peace FM’s multi-award winning show ‘Kokrokoo’ Kwami Sefa –Kayi,a chap credited to be arguably the nation’s best radio presenter has declared that the September born Hilife icon Daddy Lumba remains one of the most influential artistes of all time ,the country has ever had in its musical history.

Kwami Sefa Kayi made these comments when he shared his thoughts on Daddy Lumba’s ‘Boxing Day’ event scheduled for Kumasi at the Royal Lamerta Hotel,in a telephone conversation with event publicist and popular facebook blogger Kwabena Agyeman-Kobia last night.Describing DL in his own words,he said DL is ‘a giant artiste from the late 80’s who managed to come out as the most successful of the then ‘Lumba Brothers’.

Sefa –Kayi sang Lumba’s praise for sustaining his popularity,relevance and influence in such a challenging environmnent.He again praised the consistent hitmaker DL,for making one of the most important discoveries in Ghanaian music,Ofori Amponsah a feat,he said earned his respect. Sefa,the host of the most listened to morning show in the country ,concluded by describing DL as not just an ordinary artiste,but one who had been able to produce the most easy to sing along songs of all time.
