Rosemond Brown who shot to fame just after the 2018 Vodafone Ghana Music Awards due to her provocative dressing has been mocked severally for her inability to express herself well in the Queen’s language.

At the just-ended Golden Movie Awards ceremony, Kumawood actress Rosemond Brown was called on stage to present an award but her inability to speak good English brought social media trolls on her.

After the Golden Movie Awards show, Ghanaian actor, Prince David Osei expressed dissatisfaction with some of the happenings at the Awards ceremony that took place over the weekend at Movenpick Ambassador Hotel in Accra especially that of socialite Rosemond Brown.

According to Prince, the award ceremony showcases Ghana and Africa’s culture across the globe hence he couldn’t believe his eyes when he saw poor English-speaking Rosemond Brown on the podium while “better” celebrities were around to do the honour.

“You bring people who are not articulate to present awards. Her English speaking is out of place. There are a lot of people who could have presented the award. She took an hour to breathe. Why is it that when people play the tomfoolery we celebrate? Stupidity is the hallmark. People are doing so well and they are not recognised but if you give the platform to fools…” he fumed.

The comments which didn’t go down well with Rosemond Brown also known as Akuapem Poloo took it to the extreme and wept bitterly for such comments made about her personality.

She, however, thanked Jackie Appiah, Joselyn Dumas and Nana Aba Anamoah for not looking down on her even though she accepts the fact that she’s not fluent in speaking the queen’s language.
