Rosemond Brown was just using me for hype – Waakye

Veteran Ghanaian actor, Prince Yawson aka Waakye has reacted to allegations that he slept with rising actress, Rosemond Brown aka Akuapem Poloo.

Rosemond Brown in an interview with Delay on the Delay show stated that she has slept with Waakye and Fred Amugi in her rise to fame. They are the two actors who slept with her before helping her become a star.

In the same interview, Rosemond Brown revealed that besides these two veteran actors, she has slept with 24 other men since she started having s*x at the age of 18.

A few days ago, Rosemond Brown organized a press conference and apologized to Waakye in his presence. She revealed that she lied about the accusations and it was just a stunt to get people talking about her.

Well, Waakye himself in an interview with JoyNews has reacted to the allegations. According to him, he has forgiven Rosemond since she has confessed she lied.

He also revealed that he is glad Rosemond Brown has come out to confess it was all for the hype to stay relevant in the movie which he is even barely known.

“I have said time and time again that I don’t want to speak to this particular thing. Whatever she did, it wasn’t as if she was telling the world I am a thief or murderer. A drowning man will catch at a straw…”, he said.

“She wanted to use us to get to her destination and if she has done the wrong thing but apologized, I have to forgive her. Who am I to say no” he asked.

Touching on how he family felt about the allegation, Prince Yawsom aa Waakye said:

“Well, definitely I am human and there are a lot of people who look up to me and they wouldn’t see it as a good thing…” he said.
