Ghanaian musician, Belinda Nana Akua Amoah, popularly called Mzbel has impressed upon the head of the Police CID, Madam Tiwaa Addo to resign from her post if she is a good Christian and to protect any integrity she has left.

Her call comes in the wake of confirmation that the four Takoradi girls who went missing in Takoradi last year have all died after DNA results confirmed the worst fears of most Ghanaians.

Yesterday, at a Press Conference, the Inspector General of Police, James Oppong confirmed that the skeletal remains of four persons retrieved from two places in Sekondi-Takoradi in the Western Region last August have proven to be those of the four Takoradi girls who went missing at various places in the Sekondi-Takoradi metropolis between August 28 and December 28, 2018.

The way and manner of the disappearance and death of the girls have led to calls for the top brass of the Police Service to resign, especially the CID boss, Tiwaa Addo Danquah, and Mzbel says those calls are justified.

“The CID boss, “Tiwaa Hopeson Hope Giver”, has to resign, she lied to the whole nation. She doesn't know the whereabouts of the girls, she doesn’t have fear of God and she is not a good Christian. Tiwaa is very savage”, she told Abeiku Santana on UTV’s Atuu show.

Madam Tiwaa is enduring the wrath of Ghanaians mainly because she had earlier stated that she was aware of the whereabouts of the missing Takoradi girls and that efforts were being made to rescue and bring them to their families.
But that flicker of hope appeared to be only a smokescreen in the eyes of Ghanaians, most of whom have taken to Social Media sites to register their anger.
