Reggie Rockstone's Brother To Change The Face of Modeling

Born Keitta Ossei Massai to Mr. and Mrs. Ossei, in the late 80’s, Keitta grew up in the penchant of fashion being the son of one of Africa’s most elaborate designers and pioneer of the Ghanaian genre of music knows as Hiplife.

His has being a world of creativity and art right from childhood. In a cross cultural background of growth, the 6.1 feet tall model spent the first 12 years of his life in Ghana after which he moved to Togo, then to South Africa and on toward Abidjan and finally back to Ghana.

After completing high school in Abidjan and doubling up as personal assistant to living rap legend Reggie Rockstone, Keitta headed back to Ghana to pursue computer science and a course he completed and has a diploma to show for it. In a daily regime that sums up to “everyday with the celebrities” his story is told of how all the celebrities he was surrounded with saw the modeling in him and urged him on to pursue it.

But for a few who would not bulge or allow him drop his love for music and his rare talent as a rapper, all pointers headed towards the modeling direction. Coming out of a relatively huge fashion and musical background could be somewhat disturbing but Keitta manages to put it all together in one.

Coming out of Abidjan as one of the finest English rappers in school and a regular feature at the school’s fashion week, all he needed was the right connection and a brand would be born, one that would transcend borders and defy languages.

Back in Ghana he met D-Mo Zac, a top photographer in Europe who saw his potential and put him up on a professional photo shoot for a portfolio that followed a storyline. He then worked with Teresa on a contemporary elemental photo shoot which combined elements of Asia, Africa and America and pure forms of nature.

He currently concluded a project with freelance writer and ace American photographer and History Professor, Msia Clark from Los Angeles on a Hip Hop documentary that features him and the Grandpapa of Hiplife amongst others.

He is currently under the managerial tutelage of Quame Junior, a renowned writer and one of Africa’s finest celebrity publicists coupled with the matured and experienced supervision of his big brother and initiator of Hiplife Reggie Rockstone.

His music side would not let him loose and has therefore enslaved him as he prepares to double up on his credential by releasing a couple of singles and exhibiting the music side of him. His hobbies are undefined as his environment makes the decision most of the times, he takes pleasure in the company of family and friends and enjoys nature as it is his purest form of inspiration.
