Ghanaian songstress Wendy Shay has taken to social media to drag Nigerian airline, FlyAir Peace, over what she described as poor customer service.

In a post shared on X on November 2, 2026, Wendy Shay raised concerns over how she had booked a flight to Nigeria twice for a show.

According to her, during her first booking in January, the airline indicated that it had no confirmation of her booking, forcing her to pay for another flight.

She explained that after paying twice, she had been chasing the airline for a refund of her initial payment, but all efforts had proven futile.

“@flyairpeace We paid for 6 tickets to Nigeria in January on your website and didn’t receive booking confirmation. We booked another flight because we were time-bound for a show. We have been chasing a refund ever since, and every effort by my team to reach you has failed,” she said.

Wendy Shay also noted that she had been trying to reach FlyAir Peace for months, but whenever her team got in touch, they were asked to send emails.

She further explained that her team subsequently sent numerous emails, but still to no avail.

“How can an airline operate here without a customer service centre? Anytime my team tried to reach out, we were asked to send an email to Nigeria, which you never responded to,” she stated.

Wendy Shay then added, “This is unacceptable. Refund us ASAP, or we escalate this matter to the authorities.”
