Ghanaian actor Prince David Osei just brought something new to Africa’s world of entertainment.

His latest movie titled Last Night is a movie I will recommend every movie lover to go in for.

What is so unique about Last Night? Well, Last Night is a movie that has never happened to Africa’s entertainment industry before.

A movie that features a single cast. Yes, you heard it right, Prince David Osei is the only person you will be watching from the Genesis to the end of the movie.

One will ask, is it not going to be boring to watch one person for 90 minutes of the movie time? The question is a BIG NO because, the suspense in Last Night will let you forget there are no other characters in the movie.

With the few minutes I watched Friday inside Holiday Inn Hotel, during a press meeting, all I can say is, Prince David Osei is a history maker and will go very far with this project he has begun.

Asked why he titled the movie Last Night, Prince said, Everything in the movie happened last night.

According to him, he had the idea of shooting a One Cast movie 5 years ago while driving in town.

"I was in a car 5 years ago with a colleague actor, I think it was Majid and I asked him if there has ever been a single cast movie in Ghana, Majid said No so I told him I will bring out something of that kind.

"After all these years of planning on bringing this dream into reality, I woke up one day and said, no I will shoot this movie next week. So I started calling in the production team and booked them from Nigeria, South Africa and other locations to Ghana for the work to begin. And finally we got it all done."

Prince in addition said he faced a lot of challenges especially with the initial budget he and his team gave for the movie which later had to be multiplied by ten due to production costs, the negative effect of dumsor which became a paramount challenge to them and other bills.

A PDO production, the movie was directed by Andy Boyo, written by Babatunde and Ghana’s sound engineer, Ephraim was the cinematographer.

Last Night premieres at the Silverbird Cinema’s, Accra Mall and WestHills Mall on August 21st.

Be the first to watch Last Night at the cinema because, its worth it.
