Prince David Osei attacks Lebene’s husband for describing Yvonne Nelson as emotionally unintelligent

Actor Prince David Osei opines Eugene Osafo-Nkansah’s rebuttal to Yvonne Nelson as being a lady who lacks emotional intelligence is “far-fetched”.

He argued in an interview with MzGee on 3FM's ShowBuzz that Yvonne Nelson’s reactions to a post Eugene and the wife Victoria Lebene made on social media were justified, considering how women are concerned about their children.

“It’s different when we attack the individual. But when somebody attacks your child, the child has got nothing to do with what’s going on,” he said.

“Somebody is insulting somebody’s private part and calling their child a bastard, is that what you want to project? He talking about emotional intelligence is far-fetched.”

Prince David Osei further expressed worry over Eugene’s decision to share a derogatory post targeted at Yvonne Nelson considering the relationship between the two personalities. According to him, it is prudent for one to be circumspect when dealing with people they have a rapport with.

He said: “I believe Yvonne and Eugene have a relationship. I thought they were friends because Yvonne was at Eugene’s wedding… For a fan to say something silly about a friend of yours, and you decided to put it on your page…

“At the end of the day, if you are a blogger or a journalist, and you do your work, you have to be very objective. If you claim someone is your friend and you always want to project the negative, aspect of that person then I don’t know the friendship you’re keeping.”

Yvonne Nelson got furious when Eugene of Nkonkonsa shared a viral post of a fan jabbing her. Reacting to the comment, Victoria Lebene who got married to Eugene not long ago, asked Yvonne to tolerate other opinions ‘regardless of the sensitivity’ because she is an opinion leader.

“If we all decide to be opinion leaders, then we should be ready to receive other opinion, regardless the sensitivity. People’s opinion cannot be controlled, that’s the sad part,” Lebene tweeted.

Yvonne quickly fired back at Lebene, describing her as a ‘loser and pathetic’. While remarking that she prays nobody disrespects Lebene’s children, Yvonne Nelson added that she prays Eugene and Lebene’s marriage lasts.

“Bunch of losers! Y’all are pathetic. Someone is supporting her hubby for posting a diss, don’t worry. You’ll get pregnant/or is already pregnant, I pray you get treated with respect, and hope no one disrespects your baby. I pray your marriage lasts too,” her tweet read.

The blogger responding to the comment, without mincing words, said Yvonne doesn’t have emotional intelligence.

“I think she should be emotionally intelligent… Mahama and Nana Addo would have shot people [if they lacked emotional intelligence]. She should be emotionally intelligent especially when you are a public figure,” he said.
