Preparations towards the one-week memorial service of the late Ebony Reigns is currently underway in Dansoman, Accra.

The memorial service is set to go down at the St Martin De Porres school and already chairs and canopies have been mounted.

A lot of dignitaries are expected to grace the occasion, including family members, loved ones, friends, colleagues in the entertainment industry and the sympathizing public.

At the time YEN.com.gh visited the venue this morning (Sunday), not many people had arrived yet, but serious preparations are underway in anticipation of guests.

The memorial service of the late dancehall diva is expected to start at around 10:00 AM.

Ebony, known in real life as Priscilla Opoku-Kwarteng, passed on February 8, 2018, after being involved in a fatal car crash.

The gory incident took place on the Sunyani-Kumasi highway when she was returning from a visit to her mother’s house in the Brong-Ahafo region.

The ‘sponsor’ hit maker died alongside two others on board her car – her best personal assistant and military bodyguard – during the accident.

Tributes have poured in from all angles since her demise, especially with the singer passing just a week to her 21st birthday.

Ebony, though, has been tipped to win the flagship Artiste of the Year Award at the 2018 VGMAs following her overall impact on the music scene in 2017.
