Organisers of Miss Ghana, Exclusive Events Ghana are unfazed by the numerous allegations leveled against them by some winners of the pageant as they have dared the beauty queens to provide evidence or face lawsuit.

Margaret Dery (Miss Ghana 2017), Stephanie Karikari (Miss Ghana 2010), Giuseppina Nana Akua Baafi (Miss Ghana 2013) and Antoinette Delali Kemavor (Miss Ghana 2015) have accused organisers of sexual and physical abuse.

Speaking to the media on the sidelines of this year’s launch, Inna Maria Patty, Chief Executive Officer of Exclusive Events Ghana denied the allegations and dared them to mention the names and addresses of the ‘big men’ she wanted the Beauty Queens to have sex with for financial returns and sponsorship deals.

“Whoever alleges must prove. The queens have said we sent them out to big men for sexual favors; before they sponsor. So we would be more than happy, prove to us, bring the list. We would be happy to join you to the right security agents to let the right thing be done. Until then, our hands are tied. Nonetheless, based on those allegations, we have taken a legal action and it’s in process,” she noted.

Ms Patty further stated that as organisers, they have learnt lessons from the development, though should would not share.

“We sincerely apologise to all Ghanaians, our strategic and cherished partners, sponsors and of course to the media for some of these unfortunate backlashes. Nonetheless, we have learnt our lessons. I must admit,” she said.

The launch was held at Kempinski Hotel, Thursday.
