Phreak Out Live @ Alliance Francaise today

Alliance Francaise will come alive tonight with the ‘Phreak Out Live’ concert which will provide music fans and fanatics a common ground to get together to express that love for the different genres of music.

According to organisers, ‘Phreak Out Live’ will provide a critical platform for upcoming artistes, celebrate existing talents and build an eclectic atmosphere for patrons.

“Phreak Out Live will create that necessary platform where DJs, producers, dancers and artistes can showcase their craft live and allow music lovers to interact and appreciate each art form better,” one of the organisers stated.

The maiden edition of the concert will feature acts like Wanlov, Spoken Word poets Kwame Write and Poetra Asantewaa among others.

The night will also showcase two passionate Ghanaian female DJs, DJ Keyzzz and DJ MJ, who are breaking through the mostly male-dominated field and making waves.

This is to project a positive image of the craft and blur that distinction between male and female DJs, as well as encourage other females who have secretly developed interest in the art to pursue it.
