They include Julio Cyriaano Olympio, William Tekyi Micah, Dodzi Kobla Senaya, Cecil Cofie and Yussif Alhassan Iddriss.

A Marketing and Events Professional, Julio Cyriaano Olympio, will serve as his Personal and Business Manager.

Also, on the team is Chris Koney, a Corporate Communications Executive, who previously worked with Vodafone Ghana, Charterhouse Productions, MultiChoice Ghana (DStv) and served as the Awards Administrator for the recently held GN Bank Awards.

“Mr. Koney will be in charge of public relations and also manage the artiste’s public image and play the important role of managing the artiste’s image and relations with the media,” the source added.

William Tekyi Micah will handle the role of a Road Manager.

He will be strategic in liaising with event organisers and promoters before, during and after Shatta Wale’s performances at events in and out of Ghana.

Dodzi Kobla Senaya will be Shatta Wale’s personal assistant and will be in charge of organising and coordinating his daily schedules.

Both Dodzi and William had been part of the Shatta Movement from its inception and together with other members such as Cecil Cofie (Blade) and Yussif Alhassan Iddriss (Deporti) have contributed to the growth and success of the Movement.

According to the source, “there is an external team made up of some very influential people including Shatta Wale’s father, Nii Armah Mensah Snr., who has been hugely involved in the financial management of the Shatta Movement.”

Even before the team officially commences work, there is evidence of a rebranding process to position strategically Shatta Wale, which move has already received positive feedback from stakeholders within the Ghanaian arts and entertainment space, as well as the corporate world.
