Peter Kayode to thrill fans on his birthday this Sunday

One of the seasoned African gospel music icons, Pastor Peter Kayode, who turned 55 today, has announced that preparations are far advanced for the release of his latest gospel musical album this year.

He is one of such gospel artistes whose music has made a lot of impact on the lives of many. His music has caught up with music lovers both in Ghana, Nigeria and some parts of Africa.

The enterprising singer with an amazing voice managed to carve a niche for himself from the time he became a pastor and a singer. He is out to do more than just entertain; he wants to make a difference in the lives of the youth that he meets.

He is a seasoned, spirit-filled gospel singer who usually sweeps audiences off their feet whenever he mounts the stage to perform.

Pastor Peter, who is celebrating his 55 birthday today, disclosed that on Sunday March 31, he would organise a thanksgiving service and a reception at the church premises located off Pentecost Junction, Agape Ablekuma in Accra, to celebrate his birthday.

The event is expected to attract his colleague pastors, friends and some selected gospel stars who will thrill invited guests with their hit-songs.

Pastor Kayode told Beatwaves that he used his musical works to transform people and win them over for Christ, and not for monetary gains.

‘I love music and for over two decades, music has been part of me. Music is all about what the public or music lovers want and this has motivated me to come out with my albums,’ he stressed.

According to him, his passion for gospel music was very strong and a lot of people had been rejuvenated through gospel music, adding, ‘I am happy that my songs have attracted a lot of people’.

His music is basically a combination of the traditional gospel rhythms mixed with other danceable gospel tunes, and his creativity is superb. All his songs have beautiful drum-beats running through the programming and instrumentation, and backing vocals are equally superb.

His new album yet to be released is a must-have, rich in rhythm production and arrangement, creativity and ministration of God’s word.

Gospel music fans can also watch him live on TOP TV every Saturday.
