People of Have celebrate festival

Have (V/R), June 16, GNA - The chiefs and people of Have in the Hohoe District have held a durbar to climax the celebration of the Agadevi festival.

The festival was instituted to commemorate a major landslide that occurred 75 years ago on a section of the Akwapim/Togo range. Mr. John Peter Amewu, Hohoe Municipal Chief Executive, commended the people for the peaceful atmosphere that has prevailed in the traditional area over the years. He spoke about the December election and advised them to maintain the peace before and after the election.
