Ghanaian actress and entrepreneur Fella Makafui has expressed her belief that social media is no longer a luxury but a necessity for survival in today's world.

According to her, the constant connectivity offered by smartphones has made social media an essential part of life, and many people need social media to survive.

"Without social media, I don't think a lot of people would survive. I don't think so, because the world we are in now is social media. Everyone has a phone, and everyone is on their phone 24/7. I think in a few years, everything is just going to be on social media. The world is changing drastically, and we just have to move along with it," she said.

She also encouraged Ghanaians to utilise social media platforms not for petty squabbles but for business and other entrepreneurial activities.

"So I feel that we are fortunate to have social media now. I think people need to channel more energy into that and use that platform for business instead of other purposes. That's what I use social media for," she added.
