Rapper Enoch Allotey as he is known in real life but in music circles as Apaatse has said though people have endeavoured to dent his music career with troubling issues that emanated from his past relationship with Shatta Michy, he is not bothered about the adverse effect.

Speaking on Kasapa Entertainment with host Kojo Preko Dankwa on Kasapa 102.5Fm, Saturday that his past relationship with Shatta Michy is a thing of the past since he is now focused on his music.

Apaatse who is known for one of the hit songs, ‘Wedding Day’ mentioned that it was an unfortunate and a regrettable outburst because he believes all artistes are working towards one goal of raising the flag of Ghana high so there is no need for unnecessary beefing in the industry.

“I’m not worried at all when I’m attacked with issues about my past relationship with Shatta Michy. For me It’s part of the work, people attack me just to break me down but it’s not having any effect on me,” Apaatse said.

Commenting on what good music is all about, Apaatse said, a recording artiste who is ready to do music as a career should constantly focus on doing good music that can stand the test of time.

“I always do what I feel to do and not to follow trends. Musicians should pay attention to the content of their songs and record with a good studio to get a quality song. The good music should also last for more than five years,” Apaatse told Kojo Preko Dankwa.

The silky voice singer has released his latest single off his upcoming album titled “MY NAME”.

The wedding day singer and k3ba hit maker is poised to release a lot of good songs for the people of Ghana and to take his craft to a whole new level.

Ghanaian musician, Apaatse has revealed that he once dated Michelle Diamond Gbagonah popularly known as Shatta Michy before her romantic rendezvous with outspoken dancehall musician, Shatta Wale.

Though close friends are well aware of this, the “K?ba” crooner made this public in an interview on e.TV and explained why they parted ways.

When quizzed whether they have dated before, he said “yes I dated Michelle before she met Shatta Wale. But we were not meant to be together.”

The Sisko Josh Records act noted his “soft and calm” nature could be a factor in the breakup because Shatta Michy easily allied with hard guys.

“You see, Michelle likes hard guys but I’m too soft or calm for her so at a point in time, we broke up. She is married to Shatta Wale and its a big deal. I am happy for her.”

Shatta Michy and Shatta Wale have a child called Prince Majesty Alexander whose naming ceremony was held on Saturday, July 25, 2015.
