Pastor Kayode Thrills Fans

Pastor Peter Kayode, a gospel music star, indeed knows how to thrill his audience.

The gospel artiste, who is referred to as ?the Dancing Pastor?, launched his second album, ?The Secret Of My Life? at the Awakeners Chapel International at Alajo in Accra.

The event attracted a large number of Christians and gospel music lovers.In the midst of this colourful event, various churches, pastors and choirs turned up to grace the occasion.

Members of the Nigerian community in Ghana are known to do whatever they do in a grand style and the launch of Pastor Kayode?s new album witnessed a large number of them.

The euphoria created by the launch of this soul-inspiring album was great and when it got underway, all the guest artistes took turns to entertain the audience.

They performed so marvelously that one was tempted think the launch was specifically planned for each one of them.

Pastor Peter Kayode?s flamboyant entry in a smart traditional wear was characterized by loud cheers, singing and dancing. He was so mobbed that at a certain stage it was impossible to take pictures of him.

Backed by the Magingo Dancers, he used only a few minutes to bring the ecstatic audience to its feet, singing tracks from his new album.

The pastor and his dancers mounted the stage and swung into action with one thumping sound after another, mesmerizing the crowd.

The performance of Hannah Marfo, one of the guest artistes, was probably the most outstanding at the launch. She may not be riding high on the gospel music charts currently, but when it comes to live performances, she is undoubtedly one of Ghana's best.

Hannah is known to keep the audience on the edge of its seat and she did just that while singing some of her timeless songs.

Pastor Peter, who learnt the rudiments of music right from childhood, has grown to become a fine gospel musician.

This enterprising singer with an amazing voice managed to carve a niche for himself from the time he became a pastor.

His music video currently showing on television is awesome.

The new album, according Pastor Peter Kayode, consists of eight soul-inspiring tracks.

As to why he waited this long to release another album, he responded thus: ?I believe the time is now.
