Pamper your husbands; gift them cars, phones and others – Counsellor

Lady Reverend Dr. Charlotte Oduro, a renowned marriage counsellor has advised married women to pamper their husbands with mouthwatering gifts such as brand new cars, phones, movie tickets and many others.

She said it’s wrong for wives to always be at the receiving end entreating them to inculcate the habit of also surprising their husbands with gifts.

Lady Reverend Dr Charlotte Oduro said it’s a healthy gesture for wives to take their husbands to restaurants, movies and other recreational centers to while away time.

According to her, husbands are always proud of their wives when they receive such gifts from their wives and thus have it at the back of their minds that their wives are capable of taking care of their children when they are not around.

The wife of the founder of Royal Victory Family Church International was hopeful that these gestures make couples’ homes beautiful.

In an interview with Hitz FM monitored by MyNewsGh.com, she admonished, ‘We marry women we help ooo, sometimes take your husband out, surprise him with a car. It makes the home beautiful and it makes that man proud because he knows that when he’s not there, you can take care of the children’.

Lady Reverend Dr Oduro advised wives to pamper their husbands and stop burdening them with unnecessary complaints which make their marriages unhealthy.

She urged wives to give their husbands good food and make love to them than to ask questions which will end up collapsing their marriages.

The Marriage Counsellor indicated that marriage requires lots of sacrifices to make it stand strong despite the challenges the couples will face.

‘Make sure he dresses well, make sure he’s always ok, marriage needs a lot of sacrifices, women we need to do this. Men have got ego, that is how they are, but you can change it, women need to submit, no matter what, men are the heads of families, giving him that respect doesn’t mean you are a fool. When he comes home, give him food to eat and make love to him. Let’s stop the fight of asking who did you talk to, where did you go, it’s getting to a point where we have grown. Women grow and stop being suspicious, whoever calls is not your business, do your part as a woman in the home, and that is it,’ she advised wives.

She added that it’s will be good for wives to concentrate on their career and take their minds off their cheating husbands and channel their energies on stuffs that will make their homes a peaceful place for their husbands.
