Celebrated Ghanaian actor Kofi Adjorlolo has revealed to Flex newspaper that the Ghanaian movie industry is not dead as many entertainment critics and stakeholders have said.

“The industry is not dead, structures are what we lack and until we put them in order we will never have a good and lucrative movie industry,” he intimated.

“We need to work again to revive our industry through good content in our movies and try to introduce young and talented up and coming actors into the game to break the monopoly of actors in our movies,” he added.

In an interview with the award winning actor who would have become a fisherman if he was not into acting, he also said that the Kumawood guys despite having a poor content, are serious about their movie business as compared to the glamour movie makers..

“They know what they are about when they are in operation. They still use their distribution point for sales of their moving which makes them better than the glamour movie actors,” he noted.
