The general manager of Accra FM, Kojo Preko Dankwa has revealed the plans of Okyeame Kwame to drag Gyedu-Blay Ambolley to court over the derogatory comment he made about him.

Speaking in an interview with Dr Cann on Happy FM which was monitored by Zionfelix.net, Kojo Preko hinted a writ of summons will be served to Ambolley by next week.

He deemed it necessary for the veteran musician, Gyedu-Blay to give evidence to the court about the allegations he made.

Mr Preko Dankwa said he is happy about Okyeame Kwame’s decision to seek court redress.

He believes this will help streamline the conversation of people and deter them from making statements without evidence.

The decision of Okyeame Kwame to sue Ambolley follows a defamatory comment he made on TV3 where he alleged that Okyeame Kwame did not pay back a GHC 50,000 loan given to him by the then President of the Musicians Union of Ghana, Bice Osei Kuffour.

Okyeame Kwame through his solicitors demanded an apology and a withdrawal of the derogatory statement he made within 72 hours but Ambolley failed to do so.
