Okyeame Kwame Loses Voice Ahead Of Versatile Show

"For me it was fun to touch base with my fans around the country and I will do tamale again any day", were Okyeame Kwame's words after partaking in Samini's Concert at the Tamale Stadium. But did the 'rap doctor' know the implications of shouting on stage?

Kwame got back to Accra only to be chided by his voice instructor, Paulina Oduro, because he had lost his voice.

Paulina Oduro did not hide her disappointment after honoring her appointment with Okyeame ahead of his voice training session only for him to show up with a husky voice. It was an exercise in futility after she tried to do something with what was left of Kwame's voice.

She advised him and other musicians not to get carried away by their fans when they hit the stage but allow the microphone to do its job. Paulina recommend some treatment of lemon, ginger and honey.

Okyeame Kwame for his part looked disappointed in himself for not following the rules and turning up for voice training finding his voice again.

"I was introduced to the the Versatile Show by Annica, Okyeame Kwame's wife", the Dance and Choreography Professor shared with viewers. He brought viewers up to speed with happenings in the dance auditions.

At Roverman Production, who are handling theatre for the Versatile Show, Okyeame Kwame was together with co-star fellow singer Racquel for rehearsals.

Effie took them through the drills of stage movement and scripting. After three hours of 'dry rehearsals' Racquel said she was happy with the script because it allows for improvisation and congratulated Kwame for a good concept.

For his part, Okyeame Kwame said he was honored the Versatile Show had the very best theatre company in the country working with it.
