Ofie Kodjoe, Ayisoba, others for ‘UNCOLONISED’ @ Alliance Française Sat.

On Saturday 24th May at 7pm, Alliance Française Accra will host ‘UNCOLONISED’ – a night of musical and visual protest – featuring Nigerian Afro-Fusion music group Villy and the Xtreme Volumes.

Progressive, energetic and thought-provoking, Villy and the Xtreme Volumes’ music is a stomping fusion of traditional afrobeat, highlife, afro-folk, soul and rock that asks pointed questions to African leaders and confronts Africa’s present issues head on.

‘UNCOLONISED’ promises to be an evening of energy, expression, confrontation and education that will ignite the senses. It will feature original graphic art onstage to add visual punch to the music and its meaning.

The nights line-up also includes veteran hiplife artist King Ayisoba from the Upper East Region of Ghana with his melodic and percussive kologo sounds and; the resonate soulful blends of Ofie Kodjoe.
