Many showbiz critics have said on record that the Zylofon Media staff are incompetent arguing that they have two top notches musicians and money including radio and TV station yet unproductive.

The latest to add his voice to the ongoing Zylofon Media and Stonebwoy discussion is artiste manager, Kwesi Ernest.

Reacting to recent impasse between the ‘hero’ hitmaker and his record label Zylofon Music, the Media Excel boss described it as most unfortunate but was of a firm believe that Stonebwoy hasn’t parted ways with the label.

He told Giovanni on ‘The Pundits’, that he expected the top management of the creative arts company to officially declare their stance on the stories making rounds that Stonebwoy has left the label to put matters to rest.

He further described comments by Zylofon Media artiste development manager, Willie Roi as uncalled for and may denigrate the label.

Kwesi Ernest urged the Chief Executive Officer of Zylofon Media, Nana Appiah Mensah, to possibly pay every package including an early retirement package to Mr. Roi so that the company’s image would be protected.

Willi Roi has been mostly criticized for pitching Shatta Wale against Stonebwoy and projecting one over the other on radio and social media platforms.

Discussing the Stonebwoy and Zylofon Media fracas, the former manager of Joyce Blessing, believes Stonebwoy is still with the label.

According to him, the contractual agreement between the two parties clearly defines the clauses in the contract, so for the artiste to leave the label without a proper bail out plan, may be considered as breach of contract.

“The Stonebwoy issue, for me there’s still hope that he will still remain with the label till his contract ends legally. If you look at the contractual obligations and the various details that connect to it. What it means is that if he is not able to get a proper bail out plan because the offer was juicy then he will be advise to stay on and finish his deal.

“Then also if he decides to stay on, there are so many cracks which have happened internally… A Zylofon worker like Willie Roi, an experienced music director and an old man who is supposed to bring the people together and offer a proper and sensible advise to them but you will see him on rampage.

“I’m saying this in reference to the fact that Willie has once opted to go for the position of a MUSIGA President and for a showbiz person to go to that level, supposedly, there’s a whole idea that you’re a unifier. Someone who believes in the creative industry and has something good to offer on the table but for where he’s going now on rampage, he’s lost almost of about 95% to 98% respect of the total industry because he’s made a mockery of all of us in this whole situation.

“I’ve challenged him and Zylofon media that if they really mean business and want the world to respect the brand then I will be happy for Nana Appiah to offer him an Oldman pension pay for him to go and rest. When he gets that package, he can take a good bow, go home and find some cocoa farm in the village and begin his farming career.” Kwesi Ernest said on GHOne TV.
