Obrafuor peps up P-Fresh the DJ

Even as rap’s John the Baptist Obrafuor continues to serve as the yard stick other artistes are measured by, the hip life don has spotted and offered encouragement to young dj in the shape of P-Fresh.

P-Fresh real name Henry Ankamah explained he got a call from the rap ‘sofuor’ encouraging him to stay focused and continue excelling in his chosen field noting that he was humbled by the experience.

"My relationship with the 'rap sofuor' is just a month old, but nonetheless he has become a senior brother to me" P Fresh intimated.

The gifted disc jockey joined radio Mercury in 2005 where he hosted the 'Space Jam' for three years before joining Kasoa based Pink Fm in 2008. Since joining, P. Fresh has become integral in the scheme of things at the station.

At age 19, he was already a household name in Kumasi where he was the head Dj at the Genesis Night Club in Amakom. He also played in other night clubs such as Kiravi, Cafe Massarati, Fox Trap amongst others.

On his advice for the youth, the Dj noted: “I would like to advise the up and coming Dj's in the country to be serious and eschew laziness because hard work pays in addition to respecting elders in the society and seniors in the industry”.
