‘Obra’ series to hit GTV soon – Maame Dokono

Top Ghanaian television and movie star, Grace Omaboe aka Maame Dokono has hinted that Obra will hit the screen soon as preparations are on going.

According the actress all is set to to set the ball rolling.

"Obra is coming back on the screens, we have shot 6 episodes,” she said.

She said this in an interview with Bola Ray and Anita Erskine on the Starr Drive Chat on Starr 103. 5 Fm.

Obra was a television programme that was shown on GTV which dominated the entertainment industry in the 90s. It dealt with issues relating to marriage, obedience, relationship, love, respect, communication among others.

It had people like David Dontoh and Amankwaah Ampofo playing roles in it.
