Last week, Presspeep.com broke the story of how a manager at Promasidor Ghana Limited, manufacturers of ONGA – a quality seasoning stock, cancelled the company’s sponsorship deal with actress cum TV presenter (on Obinim’s OB TV), Kafui Dzivenu, because this manager is not a fan of Angel Bishop Obinim.

Presspeep.com sent an official email to Promasidor Ghana Limited for the manager’s side of the story but received no reply as at the time of wrapping up on the story for publication. Later, the accused manager called Editor of Presspeep.com. He gave his name as Mr. Shine.

“Why should you publish the story without our side? You should have waited till we react to it before you publish?” he queried the site. When asked if they received our official email to them, he admitted they did but the notice was too short for them to react – meanwhile, we sent them email and waited for more than 24 hours for response before we published the story.

After ranting and accusing Presspeep.com for not doing the right thing, we directed him to stick to the issue by asking if he indeed cancelled a sponsorship deal Onga once had with Miss Kafui simply because he (Mr. Shine) is not a fan of Bishop Obinim. He stayed on the line for seconds without an answer.

Even though Presspeep.com prod him to clear the issue, he failed to acquit myself of the allegation to clear his name and that of the company he works for. Rather, he promised of getting back to us but never did.

We assured him that even his refusal to confirm or deny the allegation is still a response so as a neutral and independent media outfit, we shall publish it – here we have it for your update on our earliest publication.
