Nominees for 2018 ‘Adonko’ RTP Awards unveiled

The eighth edition of Radio Television Personality (RTP) Awards has been officially launched in Accra.

Aimed at rewarding media personalities who have over the years contributed immensely towards the development of radio and television in Ghana, organisers say the awards scheme seeks to celebrate individuals who have excelled in their respective fields within the year under contention.

CEO for Radio and Television Personalities Awards, Prince Makay said during the press launch held in Accra, on 3rd August 2018, that this year’s event promises to be ‘more’ improved as provisions have been made to ‘face-lift’ the entire awards scheme.

“The eighth edition will be the very best. That is the assurance I want to give to Ghanaians. People should watch out for something big this year and also all the big artistes will be on one stage” he stated.



The awards scheme is open to radio and television personalities and media houses who have endeared themselves to the hearts of listeners, viewers and media critics and have excelled in their respective fields within the year under contention.

The launch of this year’s event attracted a number of radio and television personalities, the media and stakeholders in the creative arts industry.
